Hello
I'm Carlos Solorzano, as the President of Serena Construction, I oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring we meet client and contractual needs. The sustainability and expansion of Serena hinge on efficient management of resources, vendors, employees, and client demands. My responsibilities include coordinating manpower, materials, and safety measures across multiple job sites, addressing client concerns, conducting site assessments, and providing detailed proposals and estimates. Operating as a small business demands adaptability and a hands-on approach, requiring me to manage every aspect of construction and contractual obligations with diligence.
My Story
I began my construction career right after high school, focusing initially on residential restoration. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience across various construction roles, from tradesman to supervisor to estimator. With over three decades of diverse experience in both residential and commercial construction, I now lead Serena Construction as its President. In my role as project superintendent, I prioritize jobsite safety and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with OSHA and contractual safety standards. I oversee all phases of work, confirming adherence to plans, schedules, and quality standards. Additionally, I handle pre-final/final inspections, punch out inspections, and maintain accurate as-built records, contributing to Serena's ongoing growth and success.
